What is the difference between the Box and the Pack?
The Emergency Food/Water Box is a home solution with food for the first 72 hours for four people. The Emergency Food/Water Pack is a compact solution for one person, a car or an evacuation bag.
Does the Emergency Box contain all the water needed for 72 hours?
The Box contains an emergency reserve of drinking water for the first critical hours, but it does not replace the full three-day drinking supply for an entire household. Our Preparedness Check calculates how much water you should keep at home. You can then complete the missing supply with the separate Water Box.
How can the meals last up to 15 years and the water 50 years?
Our ready-to-eat meals are hermetically sealed and then gently sterilised, preserving them naturally without chemical additives. The water is packed in special pouches that protect it from light and air. The stated shelf life applies when products are stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and at a stable temperature of up to 23°C. Can I heat the meal without electricity?
Yes. The pack includes our flameless self-heating system. A small amount of water starts the reaction, and the water does not need to be drinkable. In 12 minutes, you have a hot meal without a stove, gas or electricity, while preserving your valuable drinking water.
What will I receive after completing the Preparedness Check?
You will see the initial result immediately. We will send your complete personal plan, checklist and recommendations securely by email. In September, the email will also include a unique code for an extra 5% off.
